Application Qualification

(1) Admission System by Ordinary Examination
Objective The Admission System by Ordinary Examination is used to allow individuals to advance to a comprehensive and interdisciplinary curriculum at the graduate school level with the aim of cultivating the knowledge which will become the foundation of the advanced research abilities required to engage in independent research activities and other highly specialized tasks in one's major field of study.
Applicant Qualification
[Spring Semester Admission I & II]
Applicants must satisfy one of the following requirements:
  • to have obtained or be expected to obtain a master's degree by the end of March 2012
  • to have obtained or be expected to obtain a master's degree or an equivalent degree abroad by the end of March 2012
  • to have been nominated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
  • to have been recognized as having an ability equivalent or superior to a master's degree holder through the Individual Assessment for Master's Degree. Acquisition Equivalency provided by the Graduate School of Human Science, and to be 24 years of age or older

Eligible individuals must satisfy one of the following requirements:
