Helping the Victims of Natural Disasters: From Grassroots to Governance
Professor Kieran Mundy, Deputy Director of the TIVI, made a courtesy visit to Mr. Tatsuo Hirano, Minister for Reconstruction on February 8th, and Dr. Katsuyuki Haranaka, President of Japan Medical Association on February 9th, 2012. We submitted the Recommendations designed and adapted by the TIVI 6th Symposium “Helping the Victims of Natural Disasters: From Grassroots to Governance” held last fall in Tokyo and requested them to consider those recommendations for their future responses and various services to disaster victims.
