John P. J. Dussich, Ph. D.

John P. J. Dussich graduated from Florida State University with a Ph.D. in Sociology and Criminology. He was a Criminal Justice Planner for the Governor of Florida’s Council on Criminal Justice. He was also Director of the Institute of Research and Evaluations, Department of Criminal Justice, University of Southern Mississippi. He is the founder, first Executive Director and Life Member of the National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA). He is a co-founder and Life Member of the World Society of Victimology and has served as both its President and Secretary General. In 1995, he joined Tokiwa University, and in October, 2003 he became the Director of the Tokiwa International Victimology Institute. Currently he is also a professor of Victimology at California State University, Fresno
