The 11th Asian Postgraduate Course on Victimology and Victim Assistance
The 11th Asian Postgraduate Course on Victimology and Victim Assistance was held from July 18th to July 29th firstly on the campus of the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia, Depok, Indonesia by co-hosts of four organizations: WSV, TIVI, University of Indonesia, and Indonesian Agency for Witness and Victim Protection. From TIVI, Professors Dr. John Dussich, Dr. Gerd Kirchhoff, Dr. Kieran Mundy, and Researcher Ms. Maekoya participated as course coordinators as well as lecturers.
During the course period, approx. 40 people participated in this course as full-time or part-time students from various parts of Indonesia and also from several foreign countries such as Japan, India, South Korea, and U.S. Sixteen participants who participated for the entire two weeks obtained the diploma after completing a presentation of their respective project proposals for a victim assistance program on the final day of the course.
