“Development of a Comprehensive Assistance System for Victims”
Funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the TIVI has conducted a four-week training course from 2007 to 2009 (Phase I) entitled “Development of a Comprehensive Assistance System for Victims.” Targeting senior government representatives from developing countries, approximately 10 trainees are recruited each year from those developing countries designated as beneficiaries of JICA programs by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The TIVI has completed the first three-year phase of this joint program, and is preparing to enter Phase II, possibly in 2011.
