学校法人常磐大学理事長、常磐大学国際被害者学研究所教授、常磐大学大学院教授

慶應義塾大学大学院法学研究科博士課程修了。常磐大学副学長、同学長などを歴任し現職。日本における被害者学の発展に尽力。国連犯罪防止計画諮問専門機構(ISPAC)に日本代表として招かれ、被害者支援マニュアルの編集に携わる(1995年~1998年)。アジア地域で初めて世界被害者学会より表彰(1997)。現在、常磐大学大学院にて被害者学、刑法、少年法、犯罪学を、また慶應義塾大学で被害者学を教える。日本被害者学会の初代事務局長で、現在同学会理事。全国犯罪被害者の会、全国被害者支援ネットワーク、㈳いばらき被害者支援センター、等の顧問も務める。

Hidemichi Morosawa

Having finished his legal study at the Graduate School, Keio University, he has expended enormous efforts on the development of victimology in Japan. The International Scientific and Professional Advisory Council of the UN Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Program (ISPAC) nominated him as a member of the team to compose a standards manual of victim support (1995-1998). He was the first Asian to be awarded the Certificate of Appreciation by the World Society of Victimology in 1997. He currently teaches victimology, criminal law, juvenile law, and criminology at the Graduate Schools of Tokiwa University and victimology at Keio University. He was the founding Secretary General, and is currently a board member of the Japanese Association of Victimology. He is also serving as an advisory member for many victim support organizations throughout Japan.
