ゲルド・キルヒホッフ

常磐大学国際被害者学研究所、常磐大学大学院人間科学研究科、被害者学研究科教授

ドイツ・ユーストス・リービック大学大学院博士課程修了。法学博士。ミュンヘン、ボン、ケルンの大学にて法学を修めた後渡米。ペンシルバニア大学にて犯罪学、刑法を学ぶ。その後、ドイツ・ニーダーラインランド応用科学大学社会科学部教授に就任。刑事司法制度や家庭裁判所制度に新しいモデルを導入した。1979年世界被害者学会創設に携わり12年間事務局長を、3年間会長を務めた。被害者学、被害者援助論および刑事司法の大学院コースを創設し、これまで800人近い卒業生を送り出している。2003年に来日し現職。米国・ノースカロライナ大学シャーロット校訪問研究員。

Gerd F. Kirchhoff

Professor, Tokiwa International Victimology Institute, Graduate School of Victimology, Tokiwa University, Japan, and College of Applied International Studies, Germany

After having received his legal education at the Universities of Munich, Bonn, and Cologne in Germany, Gerd F. Kirchhoff studied criminology and criminal law at the University of Pennsylvania, USA. He initiated several innovative models in the Criminal Justice System and in the Family Court System as a professor in the Department of Social Studies, University of Applied Science Lower Rhineland in Germany. He co-founded the World Society of Victimology in 1979 and served for 12 years as Secretary General and for 3 years as President. He established the annual Postgraduate Course on Victimology, Victim Assistance and Criminal Justice, which has taught approximately 800 graduates thus far. He has joined the Tokiwa University in 2003. He is a visiting research scholar of University of North Carolina, Charlotte, USA.
