常磐大学国際被害者学研究所専任研究員

常磐大学大学院人間科学研究科修士課程修了後、カリフォルニア州立大学フレズノ校大学院でカウンセリング（マリッジ・ファミリー･セラピー）を専攻し修士号を取得。在学中、フレズノ市内の民間のドメスティック・バイオレンス被害者支援機関や精神科病院にてカウンセラーとして研修を積む。2008年に帰国し、同年10月より常磐大学国際被害者学研究所の専任研究員として在職。現在も、研究活動の傍ら、民間の被害者支援団体の活動に関わっている。研究分野は、ドメスティック・バイオレンス、児童虐待、被害回復。

Chie Maekoya

Chie MAEKOYA obtained a master’s degree in Human Science from the Tokiwa University in 2004. She graduated with distinction from the California State University, Fresno in 2008, where she completed a second master’s degree in Counseling (Marriage and Family Therapy), and worked as a counselor at a psychiatric hospital and a domestic violence shelter in California. Her academic focus includes victims of domestic violence and child abuse, and victim recovery.
